Connect your Smart Hub to the Internet

The Smart Hub associates to your home network and allows you to view your camera streams from anywhere.

  1. Firstly, connect the Smart Hub to your router with an Ethernet cable.
  2. Then, connect the AC adapter to the Smart Hub and plug it in.

The Smart Hub LED

The Smart Hub LED specifies the status of the Smart Hub. The LED flickers once when the Smart Hub is first powered on. Then the LED lights as follows:

  • Solid blue. It means Smart Hub is associated to the Internet.
  • Slow blinking blue. It implies Smart Hub is ready to sync and pair with a camera or is connecting with a camera.
  • Fast blinking blue. The Smart Hub paired with a camera.
  • Solid amber. It means an error occurred or something is wrong with the connection.
  • Slow blinking amber: – When the slow blinking amber the Smart Hub can’t connect to the camera.
  • Alternating blue and amber. A firmware update or a reset is in progress.

Use the Arlo app for installation and setup

You should use the Arlo app to install and set up your Smart Hub and Arlo Pro 3 Camera.

Here are some steps:-

  1. Firstly, create your Arlo account. You use the same account to manage all your Arlo devices.
  2. The, connect the Smart Hub to the Internet and add it to your account.
  3. Moreover, Add each Arlo Pro 3 Camera and pair it with the Smart Hub.

When the setup of Arlo account is completed you can access it by using the Arlo app on a smartphone or tablet, or from a PC using an internet browser. If you’re using a PC, enter https://my.arlo.com/#/login in the address bar of the browser.

Furthermore, after installation, you can use the Arlo app to look over your camera feed, customize alerts and notifications, create schedules for your cameras, and more.
